PREMIUM STAINLESS STEEL – This version of the Max Spread is constructed of 316 stainless steel with a brushed finish to add a sleek, modern look to any outdoor space. Grade 316 stainless steel is an alloy of iron, chromium, nickel and molybdenum. It is ideal for outdoor applications due to its strength and resistance to corrosion (rust), even in high-saline environments like coastal areas.
USE & CARE: To maintain the fixture’s shine and maximize its lifespan, surface clean with soft cloths or plastic scouring pads. Use non-chlorinated soaps to remove build-up and a removal agent like CLR to remove any corrosion. After cleansing, a stainless steel polish can add long-term protection. Fully rinse any cleaning agents with warm water. Do not use wire brushes, scrapers or abrasive cleaning agents with chlorides or salts; these can compromise the surface, letting corrosion take hold.

OPTIMAL ILLUMINATION – Uses halogen or LED G4 bulbs (not included); search B0C6NSQDYD for the version that includes a bulb. Projects a large 16′ diameter region of illumination (30% greater than most VOLT path lights). Ceramic white paint underneath shade for increased ground illumination. Complies with International Dark-Sky Association guidelines to conserve energy, prevent light pollution and minimize light trespass.
LIFETIME WARRANTY – VOLT extends an industry-best lifetime warranty on this stainless steel fixture. VOLT products are also UL Listed for safety; most competitors’ landscape lighting products on Amazon are not. As with all 12V fixtures, a low voltage transformer (not included) is required for operation.
